View things differently

View Things Differently' was our first exhibition, undertaken in 10 venues across Manchester. Each venue had a site-specific video sculpture created for it that showed videos relevant to the venue.
36mc - 36 Artists
36mc was an exhibition where 36 artists were locked in a building for 36 hours. Each artist, in collaboration with others, were asked to create an artwork on the theme of 'restriction'. Our knowledge of CCTV led us to manufacture an interactive 'video wall' of 62 monitors that displayed camera images from around the gallery. Pressure pad sensors made text appear on the screens upon activation.
The first time - Do you remember the first time?

This exhibition took place in the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, in 1999. Our part of the exhibition involved the manufacture of a 'Video Booth' (similar to a passport photo booth) that recorded the first time experiences of the gallery visitors. The resulting videos were then edited and shown alongside the booth in the gallery.
