Technical Event Management
Sensurround
Sensurround was an event that showed the best of Mancunian creative culture around the world. Sponsored by The British Council, it toured a collective of 12 DJ's and VJ's who combined to put on a live event. The events featured live sets from the DJ's with supporting visuals from CCTV cameras and video mixing from G4 laptops, shown on 2 30ft wide video screens either side of the stage. As technical managers for the show, we organised the equipment required from each country and installed our own equipment alongside it to realise the shows in their entirety
The Science Museum, London
In 1998, AVA were asked to provide technical event management for the opening of The Welcome Wing at the Science Museum, London. The installation involved 12 video projections, interactive works and full PA for the 2000 capacity venue.
The Liverpool Biennial Independents
2002 saw AVA asked to provide installation and technical management of the independents section of the Liverpool Biennial. Over 20 audio visual artworks were installed and maintained throughout the 8 week show.
